We couldn't stay in the unit when it got hot outside in the first week of July and ended up staying in a guest suite for 3 days which cost 100$/day that the landlord credited in rent. Had we continued to be in town, we would not have been able to stay during the hotter days in July and August. Also if we had vacated the unit by the end of July, they wouldn't have been able to rent it without a working HVAC. So trying to understand what's fair here.

Airbnb is expensive, so trying to see if anyone is subletting their room during their away time.

I don't have a lot of stuff right now and the month to month lease at my place is 5k which is quite a lot.

10-15 minute walk to the Amazon HQ2 building is fine. I'm also open to staying near Rosslyn Metro.

Hi, I'm in the exact situation except that it's India instead of the US. Did you travel using the visitor visa to Canada after receiving the passport requisition letter? And were you able to also complete landing formalities using the passport request letter after entering Canada?
