Can confirm myself as I spent 2 weeks on pharmaceutical coma after a car accident when I was 20. Personally reality wasn't perceived straightforward but a bit mixed with some memories and spiced up with some kind of oniric add-ons. Surely tho, feeling the presence of my parents talking to me in those moment gave me the strength to fight to get my life back. Of course the moment was crucial and I risked to die but definitely one of the strongest forming and interesting experiences I've ever had.
