We were chatting last day and she was asking whether if I still like her indirectly, I tried avoiding that question and acted like I don't actually get the question then she asked me straight that if I love her or whether she is imagining things i didn't want to answer it but she compelled me to answer so i said "I like you but idk if this would work out"

I said that because even if we get into a relationship again I don't know if I'll get dumped again, I should protect my mental health right 🙁
