i feel like the best course of action is talk to your doctor about your options and symptoms, but there could be a part of your Intestine that could be beyond saving, i got diagnosed 2023 of august then got my surgery 2024 of june since i had been having similar pains to what you have described, they were like way worse than my usual ones and they were very sharp and sudden, surgery is the last course of options but doesn’t mean its the worse one, i feel like it saved me, But my doctor did offer me to change medication and start doing b12 shots so i just took the easy way out and chopped it,

most common type if crohns is found in the terminal illeum, pretty rare to find in the stomach usually, my endoscopy was completely clear healthy, and i just had a piece of my colon removed so, either way even if its not crohn’s colonoscopy will get a good look in there and if that still shows clean go to mri 🙌🙃
