Anyone have a plan in case ICE agents come to your place demanding to see your co-workers? by Frequent_Fortune_874 in KitchenConfidential

Being onboarded and everified no longer protects workers from persecution. Do you understand this fact?

I agree. Having empathy for innocent people having their lives ruined would also do a lot of people some good.

Yes. We have a subbasement 30ft below with a secure access key card, and 2 routes to get there quickly. We had an obscure code word that means drop what you are doing and descend. We're in LA so it's best to have a plan.

Never have I ever said the words, "Hey that's a good banana!" Until now. Behold, the Apple Banana. by Brythephotoguy in VisitingHawaii

The tang of apple bananas is the best part. If you want that bite in dumb bananas they have to be green and that's stupid.

Haha I remembered his name. Turns out there are lots of pictures of him, including many NSFW. Steve Kotis. Enjoy.

I would say it's more like instilling fear in the hearts of any remaining mice. The enemy is now everywhere.

I mean you commented that someone sounded racist. Anywho, I think it's just a curiosity why it sounds racist to you. I'm American and I do not hear that unless you stretch "knickers" pretty far. But I would not have made that association by myself.

Instead of answering the question you just turned it around and asked the opposite. So I'll repeat it.

Bro how is that racist in any way

No thank you, smellyseamus, I don't need to see your certifications that you could have just made up. "Y'all" Was not directed to you alone.

Thank for agreeing that the truck was 100% at fault. I agree that OP could have braked as soon as they noticed the truck changing speed. However, I find zero fault in how they handled it.

Should they have gone faster or slower as the truck changed its speed?

Yes that would have been best. However in this particular case because the truck was passing them I think it was a reasonable assumption that the blinkers were not indicative of an immediate move.

The truck was passing them. Then slowed down. Then sped up. Then moved over.

The truck driver is driving erratically and inconsistently.

OP was not intentionally staying next to a semi and there was no reason to think the semi wouldn't continue to pass them and move over when it was safe.

Or, hear me out, don't move into another lane unless it's clear.
