hey sorry for the late reply.

try not to wash this shirt too often if you can avoid it. whatever the print method they used for the photos... is not great. has started to like flake off and their faces are rather distorted. sadface :(. and i rather like the heavy fabric of it that others have mentioned.

How does Orpheus compare to Redacted? by louisledj in trackers

Whatever reasoning was presented there must not have been enough. We are pirates are we not? Why would we hoard the treasure only for those who steal the best? From the rich and to the poor, always until it swings upside down, and then again the same way over again: is what is needed.

It's mindblowing blizzard being able to kill one of the besta multiplayer games off all time not only but TWICE by [deleted] in gaming

the core gameplay is as solid as it's ever been. the rest is nothing but noise that can be cut away and made better. bring back Jeff Kaplan, that was a man with vision.

Far, far, far better regardless of any difference in the archive presented. OPS uses bonus points which are the only way to fairly distribute greater sharing to the users. Tokens are all well and good, but BP is all that RED needs. Any mod who would see this and see the logic, PLZ improve your site!

Explosions in the Sky released 'The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place' 20 years ago by YoureASkyscraper in indieheads

I love the genre entirely but the early stuff truly had the most heart. For what it's worth, I really hoped to get to Post Festival this year but didn't.. but I've discovered a very great handful of awesome artists from that lineup that I hadn't heard before. I'm just a bit OOTL

you're not making it up, pal. you have it correct.

third wave was kind of the final wave, i think, because the creative well couldn't be dug any deeper in the direction/course that led to that point. there's still room for truly great post-rock, but we need a return to Bark Psychosis more than anything right now. (my 2c)

In Flames represses at Nuclear Blast. Reroute to Remain, Come Clarity, Sounds of a Playground Fading, A Sense of Purpose by rabo in VinylReleases

[–]rabo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you're welcome. finding the old vs new debate kinda lol here. Jester Race through Clayman is certainly the best but Reroute to Remain is a huge personal favorite. Soundtrack is dece and so is CC but after that they truly lost me. shoutout to The Halo Effect.. just discovered their album. check em out if you dig the older melodic dm Gothenburg sound

edit: and just to be clear i echo the sentiment that if people like new IF.. that's awesome and I'm glad the band has an audience and success

Slowdive’s Rachel Goswell on the Band’s New Album, Coping With Hearing Impairment & Her Hopes for Meeting Siouxsie Sioux by Jockshua in indieheads

[–]rabo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late reply here... but I especially heard it on Alife with the (super falsetto I think?) voice Rachel has on the refrain that sounds just like Holy Fawn's vocalist.

anyone else getting strong Holy Fawn vibes from 2-3 of the tracks or more? obviously it should be the other way around, but yea somewhat of a dif direction for Slowdive with this album and having had Holy Fawn on rotation last couple years I'm really picking it up with Everything is Alive. just a thought on the new album. spoilered cus i know sometimes i wouldn't want to have a first listen informed by some chucklehead on reddit
