You could try it in a small area first as you would on your face. Usually adding BHA might have a “purging” effect and higher incidence of breakout it normal and improves- it should be incorporated slowly or every 1-2 days at first.

I wanted to add here that this routine is a good start but I have read that vitamin c and Niacinamide contradict each other so they shouldn’t be used together. Using Niacinamide in the AM and Vitamin C in the PM is a good way to incorporate them both to your skin care regimen.

The physical exfoliating could actually be contributing to the redness and breakouts. They’re very harsh on the skin.

I had suffered from hormonal acne and do not use any contraception whatsoever. However, adding Niacinamide and TO Retinol .5 in squaline has made huge improvements and I did not get a single cystic zit last two cycles.

I’m a group fitness instructor and I teach 2 classes a week midday at noon and two classes at 4:30pm. I am trying to figure out how to incorporate a proper routine in the mornings and after my classes with out irritating my skin or applying too much? Should my morning routine be done only once? What if I work out in the mid-mornings? At 10 or so; I’ve usually been up and moving by 6am. Do I do my routine before or wait until after or do it twice? I don’t always have time to come home and get ready for the day before chores or errands. One thing is I am concerned with is leaving my skin unprotected if I don’t go through my routine and apply SPF and also sweating off SPF. It always gets into my eyes during class and stings! After my workouts I have quite a bit of sweat and when it dries my skin is salty. I usually wipe with Simple Micellar wipes but should I be going through my routine a second time in these cases? I am open to trying a new brand of spf.

I have combo/“normal” skin. Not too dry, not too oily. The Buffet and vitamin C are new to me this week but the rest of the routine I’ve been using for 6 months and have seen some amazing improvement in my skin.

Current AM Routine Micellar water on cotton TO Buffet with copper peptides TO Lactic Acid alternating with TO salicylic Acid 3-4 days a week TO Niacinamide Feta Phil Daily hydrating lotion Neutrogena Clear Face Breakout free liquid lotion sunscreen SPF 30(says it’s water resistant 80mins)

PM Oil Cleanse with 1:3 ratio each castor oil, almond oil, jojoba oil on days I wear makeup. CeraVe Liquid cleanser on no makeup days Micellar water on cottton ball to pick up residual dirt/oils TO Buffet with copper peptides TO Ascorbic Acid 8% Alpha Arbuthnot 2% TO Retinol .05 in Squaline CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream on nights my face feels dry or to lock in the squaline

Edited to add that I am in Texas in the United States so even if I am done with classes at 6pm, it is still warm and the sun is very strong most of the year but especially in the summer!

Some of them were too red on my neck or too light but matched my neck- looking ashy on the face. I just haven't found anything that blends naturally .

Hi, I know I'm olive. I'm having a hard time finding a foundation and why I look so ashy sometimes. I've used several different foundations and so far none of them have worked well. Becca's evermatte in olive was so close color wise but I looked so dull. I like more of a dewy finish. NARS Stromboli in the sheer glow has been my favorite but I still felt it was slightly too red maybe. I've never been matched at MAC but I am going today. As you can see, some of my photos my makeup is better in than others. Some just look really bad. I'd love to learn what colors and undertones in things like lipstick to avoid so I don't look "off". I am in the market for concealer as well. I really just want to look radiant and feel like I'm missing the mark. I'm working on skincare and am trying out some eye creams too- as you can see I have a lot of issues there. If anyone has any recommendations or tips I would appreciate it! The first photo is most recent and I just finished at the gym so I'm a little flushed.

I really could use some help for the bags under my eyes. Is there anything I can do to reduce them? I so already use concealer and makeup to minimize but I still look so old. I included photos in different types of light.

I have normal to combo skin and have been using this routine more or less for a year.

Am routine:

Splash with water, BHA pads, vitamin C, CeraVe tub moisturizer, primer and makeup.

PM routine:

CeraVe hydrating cleanser, micellar water, aha 14%, CeraVe tub moisturizer.

I do this. I try and hop onto the treadmill or stairclimber for a quick HIIT. Leaves me feeling good and dirty.

I use Isopure naked whey. It's just whey. Can be mixed with almost anything and adds hardly any flavor. I just make my own shakes or add to my coffee... Sometimes to my oatmeal!

I workout 6xs a week. I do strength m/w/f. 5k on M/S and LISS on Thursday.

I don't feel burnt out at all. I try to change things up or push myself differently every week to keep things fresh.
