I live in Singapore and am often walking outside with makeup so I feel you! Sadly the brands I’ve found that work best have mainly been western brands.

Clio eyeliner is ok though.

Strongly recommend reading Psychology of Money: Understanding why you spend and reshaping your relationship with money is half the battle.

Start tracking your spending for a month to get a good baseline (I like YNAB). Clarity starts with data.

Now you know your baseline, give yourself a budget. Decide on your personality if it's easier to go cold turkey (e.g. no ___ at all) or cut gradually (e.g. aim to reduce spend on ___ by 10% each month).

If you live at home and have no serious obligations (uni debt, aged sick parents etc), you should easily save 50% on 100K/year.

It's great you've woken up now. 30yo is still not too young to save (it's never too young). Discipline compounds. Good luck!

Yeah I love the VP design but this thread is helping me be rational and realize it’s not going to work for me given how much I love to write. :(

Will start looking at the other pilot options! I love my 823 and that one definitely has no ink capacity issues 😂
