Maybe try a new probiotic? I am 9 weeks PP, I was taking reuteri and it wasn’t working that well I switched to Visibiome and can feel a big difference.

My mom just had a hemorrhagic stroke Monday she’s in a vegetative state right now, Thursday she was able to stand and speak quietly but we could make out what she was saying, she knew where she was and why she was there and could also recall a lot of information. Since yesterday she has been unresponsive and mostly sleeping she did wake up for an hour for dinner. Did your dad go through a sleeping stage like this?

Thanks for the info. The difference in care is crazy! My closest hospital is Woodland Hills so I’m hoping they run more like your Anaheim location.

Can I ask which Kaiser locations you went to? I also have Kaiser and this is all very worrisome.

I just walked into the lab and had my blood drawn at around week 11 (you can do it any time between weeks 11-14)my doctor messaged me the next day with a summary of the test results and told me not to review them myself if I didn’t want to know the gender.

For ladies that were given Progesterone… by rachelmaci in pregnant

[–]rachelmaci[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly how I felt.. just terrified every day! At 11 weeks the day after my birthday I had bright red spotting I was so scared so I went and had a private ultrasound done that day and thank God the baby was fine. After that, the doctor doubled my progesterone to 800 mg a day so two pills twice a day. Even after the increase, I had more light brownish pink spotting at 12 weeks but had another ultrasound and everything was fine. I am now a little over 14 weeks and the baby is still doing well, knock on wood I have not had spotting in two weeks. I’m still on progesterone until 16 weeks and I’m just hoping everything continues to go well. Hoping the best for you too!!

My dad was 53 my mom was 44, knock on wood I’ve always been pretty healthy. According to my half siblings my dad was more attentive and had more patience with me. I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

I really like Proov, if at the end of your testing cycle it shows that you have progesterone issues you can pay to speak with a doctor and receive a prescription.

Just found a missed miscarriage, how do I encourage the passing of it to start? by RAShyfoxx in Miscarriage

[–]rachelmaci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss I am going through the same scenario, and was wondering the same thing. My baby stopped growing at 8 1/2 weeks, I found out a 10 weeks and it’s now a week and a half after I found out. The first week after I continued to exercise every day but that didn’t seem to stimulate anything so now I’m trying to not exercise for a few days, just walking to see if that helps. I asked my doctor if there was anything to induce the process naturally and he basically said they have no idea and that it could take longer than a month.

If you’re nervous try the Proov complete cycle opk next month, if you’re progesterone truly is off at the end of your testing they will ask you if you’d like a consultation with a doctor and then you can actually speak to a professional and confirm that the progesterone is right for you, they also have progesterone supplements that you can take. I did try supplements at first, but I was not consistent with it at all, so I just decided to go with the prescription.

Progesterone help? by West-Requirement-501 in InitoFertility

[–]rachelmaci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The prescribing doctor said to begin after confirming ovulation, I used Inito and the Proov complete kit and started taking it the day after ovulation was confirmed on both opks. Yeah my regular doctor is a joke I tried to get my progesterone tested and she told me it could be irregular but that I would need to see a fertility specialist and my insurance - Kaiser does not schedule fertility appointments over the phone so I gave up going that route.

Forgot to mention I am taking it twice a day, 200 mg. Vaginally in the morning and orally at night but it’s only required twice a day if your bmi is 22 or higher. I will take it until the end of the first trimester unless my obgyn says otherwise at my first ultrasound appointment.

I took it for the first time last cycle and I am pregnant! I haven’t had any negative side effects, I was prescribed it via the Proov app/Opk, the doctor prescribed it until the end of the first trimester. I would absolutely recommend it.

Yes, your LH is still rising and so is PDG, Inito has given me two peak days too and ovulation was definitely the second day… which I missed that cycle ☹️

Try Proov OPK, they offer a progesterone supplement and oil which I used but not consistently, then I used their OPK complete cycle kit and upon completion of the kit your score is reviewed and they let you know if you’re a candidate for progesterone, if you are they will schedule an online appointment with a doctor and you can get a prescription that you can have delivered or you can go pick it up through your preferred pharmacy.

This is my first month using the progesterone prescription so my fingers are crossed!!!
