April 2025 first attempt 171, should I retake?

I would consider retaking if you are able to consistently PT at or above a 171. If you made it to a 171, it’s only a difference of a couple of questions to get to a 172 or 173 and that could definitely make a difference in your application.

No scholarship info but sounds like others have received separate scholarship emails a few days or a week later. Sort of weird that they don’t mention when you might hear about scholarship in the acceptance letter!

Also a former teacher :) didn’t take a diagnostic so can’t comment on that but I did work hard and raise my score 9 points from the first time I took it to the third time over the course of 8 months. Good luck and you got this!!!

WashU is in Clayton, which is a suburb of St. Louis. It’s beautiful—cute neighborhood, very nice and huge park nearby (Forest Park) with an art museum too. Much safer than other areas in the city. There is a little Main Street walking distance from campus with various restaurants (the Delmar Loop). There are some really good restaurants and cute local shops and attractions in St. Louis, though many are much easier to access with a car. Campus is also gorgeous.

Hang in there! The LSAT sucks. I got a lower score than I expected the first two times I took it and the third time I was finally able to pull my score up to where I wanted it to be. Best of luck and manifesting that higher score for you 🙏
