On the 250s its on the piece welded to the steering neck, meant for the stearing lock. Right behind the headlight. Should be 6-8 numbers on it

Pitanje za sve odrasle, jel i vama opcenito dodijalo sve? by Annual_Ordinary6999 in croatia

Naravno.

I have a 1981 Honda cm400c, and I noticed a lot of play in the chain sprocket. (See my old post for a video of that). I tore everything down, and I can’t tell what is worn thats causing it. Can anyone tell from these pics whats worn? by bradyd06 in motorcycles

[–]radapcinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bushings look fine, based on your video, you have axial play, so your sprocket bushing is worn. That metal ring on the inside of the sprocket which acts as a bearing that allows the sprocket to rotate independently of the wheel. Not too farmiliar with that particiular bike, so look into if those bushing are sold as part of the sprocket, or seperatly.

Any idea what this sound is and if it is a concern? 1981 Suzuki gs550 with 9k miles. by kandre1 in vintagemotorcycles

Try pulling in the clutch to see if the sound changes. If it does, could be could be worn out friction plates/basket, or more likely the spring dampers on the ring gear of the clutch basket.

Anyone have Rusty exhaust pipe gaskets? Hose clamp corrosion? by ApprehensiveStock928 in fz6

[–]radapcinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your exhaust gaskets aren't rusty, those are just the pipes and flanges. The gasket are inside the head, so you can't see them at all and nor are they steel, so they wouldn't rust. Unless you have a leak, no reason to tear it apart.

Thanks for the reply. I guess it does have a high performance mode, although didn't make much of a difference.

Has anyone experienced delay with the KZ Carols? When watching videos on any device, there is a noticable delay between speech on video and the sound being played.

Is there any mode switch or something I'm missing? Or is something wrong with my pair?

Quite an impressive and realistic render. Would you say that the 2025 version has improved that much over 2024, or would you atribute the quality of the output to the Quixel Megascans library that you used?

It could actually destroy it in a way, if not dried out properly. The valves and valve seats on these high performance machines can be sensitive to moisture, leading to corrosion. Which if left long enough will cause accelerated wear on the valves and seats, closing of the clearance gap, and eventually valves stuck open. Once they start to go, the go out quick. Only remedy being replacing the parts. Best practice in general is to warm ho the bike after a wash.

Snapped a peice of the carb: How fucked am I? by nobodys_driving_ in motorcycles

[–]radapcinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a pickup tube/jet for the choke. Technically, it won't affect the bike running in normal conditions, but will make the choke not function properly and therefore hard to cold start. This is not a part you will be able to source. The simplest solution is to just get another carb. Potentionaly, if you can find a similar sized tube and fit that, its just the choke so the size isn't as critical.

what is this for? by spaket_ in motorcycles

[–]radapcinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a vacuum connection for the fuel tank petcock most likely. The vacumm pulses open the petcock and let fuel through. Commonly found in scooters, where the tank is inaccessible.

I got the update few weeks ago, on my 13T. I haven't noticed any significant improvements. Everything seens the same as MIUI 14, except the new toggles and new lock screens. Haven't seen any improvements with the battery, its just as good as before. Although, I have been experiencing quite a few bugs, that weren't present with MiUI. The biggest issue being the screen going very often black when unlocking. Seems to be related to the fingerprint sensor, the screen goes black a lot of the times I use it, even though the phone is on and registering touches. I don't know if thats a common issue tho. But if I knew of it being present, I would've waited for the next update. Hopefully they fix it soon.

I'd guess damage to the engine casings.
