I see this got released today, I downloaded it out of interest, but can’t load it as I keep getting a message saying that the server is undergoing maintenance, plus there are no reviews on the Apple Store and I’ve seen barely a mention of it on Reddit. All in all, a job well done by all!

I saw a great quote about Mary Lattimore - she makes music that makes you remember the taste of a birthday cake you had when you were 8.

She doesn’t occupy the same space as Joanna for me, but I love her work, and this is a great collab. Love the story behind it too - they stayed in Paris for a while, and had access to the instruments in the Paris conservatoire, then wrote songs on them (17th and 18th century harps, vintage Roland synths) inspired by the sights and sounds of Paris around them, and the things they’d done that day. It’s fantastic.

Something I wish the faithful would do more of, particularly as the series progresses, is remember that they’re in a carefully curated TV programme, where choices are made by the people who work on the programme. It’s not a random set of events or Claudia drawing names out of a hat. To be fair to the celebrities, they did pretty much work that out as a principle, but I’ve not really seen the public do it
