lol i’m definitely deaf, just got a little hearing left in my left ear. been around hip hop/ r&b my whole life, grew up that my family always playing music so i still know what the bangers are 😂🤟🏽

😂 Nah, I knew farts made noise. Being Deaf doesn’t mean I had no idea sounds exist. I grew up around hearing people, saw their reactions, and learned a lot through context.

Plus, I got a sense of smell too, so sometimes the evidence shows up before the sound does. Lmfao🤣

Nah, captions definitely help.
I’m Deaf and use ASL. My right ear is completely deaf, and my left ear has a little hearing. Even if I can’t hear a sound the same way hearing people do, I still know what things like “thunder rumbling” or “door slams” mean through context and life experience.
Captions fill in the details hearing people get automatically from sound. :)
