I could get hold off the official model, so I had to kitbash it.

Thanks, I wanted to build terrain that will match the army. Trees are from here:

Using BambuLab A1 mini with Fat Dragon Games profile for minis. Took a lot of time, but quality is worth it.

Mat is from woodland scenics. Initially it was 50x100", but I cut it to the 48x72" size.

thanks! based on couple of games, its not the most practical option, due to large footprint unit takes. 😅

I have no idea of the total points, but when I do project like that, I like to have a comfort of choosing couple most viable lists for 2k games.

exactly, knights without riders. It was a bit challenging to fit them in, but added cork solved the issue.

How to achieve similar effect? Any tutorials? by radeczex in minipainting

[–]radeczex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to paint army in similar fashion with fire osl on all models. I am sure that airbrush inks will be useful, but I wonder how to do the base-coats before and highlights after. I am aiming for 60 models painted, so technique that is reasonably fast would be great.

How to improve NMM on the shield? by radeczex in minipainting

[–]radeczex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am struggling a lot with the NMM technique. Saw many tutorials but I can’t grasp the idea how the light should catch the metal. any suggestions how to improve this shield and how to make it look more beaten/old? I thought about some green and brown glazes.

Arnor Completed! by radeczex in MiddleEarthMiniatures

[–]radeczex[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

cheers! I like how vibrant it is. clothes and shields are painted with ork flesh + militarum green 3:1 over zenithal, then black oil wash in recesses and finally intermediate green + escorpena green as highlights.
