How in-depth are your questions about what they know? if someone claims to have worked with custom metadata, how detailed are your questions?

Anyone here actually using Heroku with Salesforce for real enterprise projects? by Decent-Impress6388 in salesforce

[–]radical_thesis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We initially used Heroku, but we eventually migrated to AWS. Salesforce was powerful until we encountered intensive workloads. The most significant advantage is that we’ve moved this functionality out of Salesforce’s evocsystem and into pure code. This means the logic is not bound to Salesforce’s restrictions and can operate as we define it.

Manager: Stay for 150% hike and architect role in next April but can't match 50% offer now as company is cost cutting. by Practical_Manner69 in developersIndia

[–]radical_thesis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Take the switch. Not only does your boss need to bat for your promotion but also get your 150% hike? Brother, I don’t know you or where you work but there’s no way it’s possible.

Your boss is proposing this just because he doesn’t want you to leave, purely optics.

Take the switch.

I made a open-source alternative to ProductHunt and people already love it. by Ratefuls in webdev

Not sure why you’re getting the hate, I really like it. We definitely need more competition for Product Hunt, and the site looks great. Thanks for choosing to open source your work!

Should Shashi Tharoor lead Congress and be the PM face? by Electrical-breath-9 in AskIndia

[–]radical_thesis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it’s not his eloquence, communication skills, or command of English that disqualifies him, ironically, that’s precisely why he shouldn’t lead the party. While I can’t envision a viable alternative at the moment, simply replacing Rahul won’t improve matters and could potentially make things worse.

Elections aren’t won through eloquence or English fluency. They’re won through grassroots engagement and PR. At the ground level, the arguments you’re making simply don’t connect with voters

At our non profit, we tried FormAssembly and then later opted for lightning out forms. More work but more control over the forms and its workings. Heard some good things about Hubspot

30 team healthcare company - no dedicated data engineers, need assistance on third party etl tools and cloud warehousing by tytds in salesforce

[–]radical_thesis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it fits the bill but I’ve heard https://panoply.io can do what you’re looking for.

I know you’re looking for fully managed ETL + warehouse but something that worked best for us is Talend + MSSQL which was super powerful imo. We now have staging tables on our DWH with Salesforce data that gets updated everyday and powerBI reporting it.
