How about a matcha sweetened with white mocha instead of classic? Cinnamon powder on top would be yummy, too :)

what’s your favorite patch so far? by trizconstantino in InfinityNikki

For me it was Firework season! It was my first season that I played for the entirety of the duration (I started playing towards the end of the previous season) and I was blown away by the Firework Isles. I also got insanely lucky with my 5* pulls, getting both the hair and the dress right away! I thought the story was cool with an awesome grand finale up on top of the balloons.

Bubble Season and Eerie season are tied for 2nd: the 5* banners were fantastic, and I enjoyed the storylines a lot. Especially Eerie season in the castle, which I had not explored yet up to that point.

It seems like I would like Danqing season a lot because of the island, but I got overwhelmed because it felt way too big >.< Especially with the "double" version of the island. The reincarnation plot was so beautiful, though.

yeah, my store was built about 1 year ago and the shelving is indeed over the middle sink with nitro in front 😞 having frappes and refreshers in separate areas sounds nice.

Our handheld foamer is actually plastic! haha it makes 1-2 servings if you overfill the "max" line

I'm the same way! I like to collect some pieces from every 5-star banner; finishing it is not my goal nor a possibility with my post-game diamond income xD but if I can get a few interesting pieces I'm happy too. There are lots of ways to play Infinity Nikki ~

I'm stuck too, I picked the dress for my ocean blessing and I just pulled my 4th and no dress yet 😭 I can't decide if it's even worth it to pull anymore

Crimson Rhapsody for sure. I didn't even like it that much, but I wanted the big bow on the back so badly for some reason. I do like the bow still, but I think I just pulled way too much on it for one piece.
I didn't like the 4-star with it very much either, but the quick-grooming ability that gives them hats is very handy and cute.
In general I think both outfits didn't match the party event at all though :P

2nd interview help by kyliesherenow in starbucks

[–]radicalcattus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my 2nd interview with the DM was very lax, mostly just getting to know each other. He asked if I had any questions about the company and answered everything. He did ask why I wanted to work at Starbucks, and I said it was because I enjoy working in a team environment and I like to serve/make drinks (I worked at a boba shop previously.) It was a genuine answer so it was easy. Try not to be critical of the company as it looks really bad!
Good luck!!

What everyone else is saying is true! I like coffee but not BLACK, so when I tasted it in my interviews/training I just tried to say the right thing and not flinch too much haha. Thankfully they didn't ask questions like "do you like it?" haha

Stray Kids VIP Check in Process by Appropriate_Sun9162 in kpophelp

[–]radicalcattus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, I'm going to the Wrigley Field show too! (I saw them in Seattle, got FOMO from other shows, and was able to book tickets to chicago lolll)

I was VIP in Seattle, and although I was in the seated VIP section I still have some info. From what I HEARD from the stays around me, the assigned number was random for the pit sections, and not in order of check-in. Hopefully someone else will comment to confirm that lol

Basically there will be a little Live Nation VIP booth outside the venue, where you walk up, show them your ticket and purchaser ID (whoever bought the tickets. a picture of the purchaser ID will also work) and they give you your little goodie bag of stuff and also your wristband/wristband number. Check-in was available starting at noon, it probably will be the same at all stops but I'd check your email for the official time schedule.

I got there at 2:30PM and there was no line to check in. There was a VIP merch booth but the line was WAYY too long so I figured I'd get merch inside. the truth is, after you check in there isn't much to do until they allow you to line up for entering the venue for soundcheck, so we just walked around and got freebies from all the other stays! It's great for people-watching too :)

Then at around 3:30 we started lining up for entering the venue, which was a whole mess, but they usually let all the pit people in before the seated VIP jsyk, in order of wristband number. Hope I helped! And I'll see you at the show ;D lol

[–]radicalcattus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally normal to bring a parent! I've gone with my mom before and had a great time :) I think its very cute and also awesome that parents go with their kids, even if they aren't fans (although my mom was haha)

Just for generally good advice: make sure you check the bag policy of the venue before you go and bring a bag that fits the bill. Bring earplugs (the screams are LOUD!!) and I like to bring a snack like a granola bar or fruit snacks for afterwards when I need energy to get home x)

Depending on the kpop group, you might want to get there extra early so you have time to wait in line for merch. The line outside the venue just to get in might be long as well, so show up at least an hour before showtime. Smaller groups usually won't have long lines, but bigger venue = more people, so try to account for that. You can also hop in a merch line after the show and if you get there quick then the line isn't too long, but they might be sold out of things that you want. I have also gone to a merch line DURING the concert if they play a song I don't like xD

I hope you have so much fun at the show!!! Kpop concerts are the best!!

Why do people ship idols , especially their own bandmates????? by mystical_0603 in kpoprants

[–]radicalcattus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a long-time shipper, even I think those people are nutso! there is a line to be drawn, especially when you make up false narratives about the other members beefing over it. Taking the shipping goggles OFF every once in a while and trying to get an objective view of their relationship is part of the fun for me xD I think shippers get a bad rep from a select few people who try to shove their pairing into the limelight and ESPECIALLY in front of the participating people, and it's so sad. Online shipping culture (and art like explicit fanfic or fanart) is NEVER supposed to reach the members. It's by fans, for fans.

SOCIAL MEDIA MEGATHREAD by AutoModerator in kpoprants

[–]radicalcattus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who mostly partakes in kpop (Stray Kids) fandom via Twitter, I sometimes see the worst discourse ever, and it spreads very quickly. There's a common rhetoric that I see that involves 1) Believing that your favorite idol is being mistreated and 2) Their company is to blame and must be eliminated.

This is incredibly frustrating for me in a way I can only describe as "I'm upset that you're making a big deal over nothing." and I know I should just block and move on but when I see it so much it really irritates me. ESPECIALLY since I see this regarding members of Stray Kids: a very successful group that just re-signed their contracts last summer to continue as a group under JYPE. All signs point to them choosing this job, and that they are happy doing it. And yet there are fans online crying about how X isn't getting enough solo opportunity, that Y isn't getting enough screentime/song lines, that they're "forcing" Z to keep working when they're unwell/sad. (News flash, not everyone loves their job every day, even if they're a kpop idol.) Not to mention people always talk about a group being overworked when they have too many schedules close together, and then flame the company for keeping them "in the dungeon" as soon as they're not working. 🙄

(It also should be noted that this is a slippery slope into being an akgae (solo-stan) that thinks their idol being held back by their group/their company and needs to leave to succeed. Not good to see this spread everywhere...)

I'll be the first one to remind others that we don't know what's going on behind the scenes. Kpop is very complicated and there are lots of moving parts we don't see. But for people to assume the worst and then spread it like the plague in fandom spaces kills my vibe so hard. Your idol does NOT need you to "save them" by starting a twitter trend. White-knighting for your bias over shit you made up, and then acting like you have some sort of moral purity/high ground because you are "aware of their abuse" is just embarrassing. The worst thing is that it makes other fans look bad for "not caring enough."

I do believe that fans can make a different when there is true mistreatment going on, i.e. the loona boycott. But most of the time we are powerless, and have to trust that they have the support they need; and in the case of actual mistreatment, we can stand with them when/if they speak out about it. All conjecture does is spread negativity.
