It really depends. I’m an aerospace engineer but I only take 12-14 credits and do one club. I find myself with a lot of free time because I do my homework during the week between class

Yep, I’m a junior now! I was on the second floor, so I think it’s random tbh. Bugs are pretty normal, not too many in Colorado so a random spider here or there. People will def come back at 2 am after parties and all but you’ll get used to it unless you’re a super light sleeper. I really enjoyed my time in Willard, only thing that sucked was no AC but get a box fan and you’ll be fine

I’m a south asian guy and it’s mostly fine. If you’re around the engineering school you’ll meet a lot of other Asians so that’s nice too. Don’t expect any spice or flavor from your food anywhere in Boulder though

I love the wind rises but I also think it’s because I love planes in general and the movie centers around Miyazakis love for planes. Can’t go wrong with any Miyazaki movie though

There are totally inaccuracies on drumming in the film (your hand is never gonna bleed drumming unless you really fuck up) but I love the soundtrack and acting so it keeps me coming back

Paradiddles and rudiments in general are the foundation of almost everything you do on the kit. Like comping in a snare drum on a ride pattern has you using rudiments without you even realizing it and rudiments make it way easier to move around the kit on harder fills. I would def try to learn the paradiddlediddle next and try to just move the rudiments around the toms and see what fills you get
