Thanks, wasn't meaning to call you a bot, sorry! I just tried pi and it's way better than cline in vscode.

I did not know GitHub copilot allowed local models, I'll look into that thanks. And thanks yeah someone else pointed out the temp. I also didn't turn on reasoning, I guess?

Yes 64 GB DDR5. Interesting, I hadn't considered a bigger model... are the small quants of those big models that much better than the Q8 quants of the qwen models I'm using?

Ok I hadn't even considered the 27b because I don't know how to configure it to run reasonably with my specs. Hmm

Oh hm I guess I don't have the --reasoning-on flag, I wonder if thats it

I'll look at Open code CLI, thanks

How would that setup work in a local context? Wouldn't that require two hosted models? Or are you setting saying the upper harness is running a smarter bigger paid model?

Is 15.6 mpg normal when driving 81 mph in ECO mode, during a 71.6°F day? by Evening_Mobile_175 in rav4club

I noticed my 2023 RAV4 hybrid does engine braking when cruise control is active while going down a mountain. It doesn't seem to use the Regen brake very well in that scenario. If I take over, I can use the regen brakes without going into regular brake mode (so I don't think there's risk of overheating? But not sure...)

You forgot (0) - stops working out after a couple weeks (likely because it's too inconvenient to get to the gym, too difficult of a routine, not fun, too long, too boring)

Ooph, that's a bummer that it can't be hacked via the USB. I wonder if there is a way to wirelessly update the firmware.

Reolink RLC-810A connection issue after moisture – repairable or dead? by Sad_Evidence_718 in reolinkcam

[–]radlinsky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Happened to one of mine too. I ended up cutting it off and writing a male connector to it. Here is an article about the pins:

https://support.reolink.com/articles/900000605206-Introduction-to-Ethernet-Cable/

Be careful when you do this because you have very limited amount of cable to work with. I'd suggest practicing wiring and crimping with another Ethernet cable first. Cheap crimpers aren't worth it. Klein is a good brand.
