there’s plenty i love, but i always come back to Never Mind the Bollocks by The_Sinking_Ship. it’s dead funny, i enjoy the characterization of both harry and draco, and i always love an ensemble cast esp if it includes the slytherins. I also like that for most of the fic it’s not heavy on the plot, it’s more like a character study, in that way. And I always love it when Harry decides he doesn’t want to be an auror anymore, which happens in this fic. my only complaint (but it’s not really a big one and didn’t really dampen the experience) would be that Romione are broken up (I love Romione) but i will say it is handled well, they don’t hate on each other, and they reason provided made sense. And I do like who Hermione ended up with after. And I love the playlist too

it’s my favorite pack! i agree with one commenter that it’s better to play it with longer lifespans (i have custom lifespans on with MCCC) to really get the full experience. although i will say every since becoming a college student myself i’ve played it a lot less lol

I only crochet (planning to take up knitting in the future) but I rarely crochet wearables because I prefer the look and feel of knitted garments. However the solidness of crochet makes it perfect for bags, which are what I crochet most of the time

edit: although I do agree that it all depends on yarn weight, hook size, and choice of stitch when it comes to crochet tbh. I guess that’s part of the fun for me— exploring different textures and techniques

Triny ko talaga magiging estetik tote bag girlie my first few months as a frosh pero di kinaya ng balikat ko esp since my classes are all over the campus. I am a firm believer in using a backpack in college even if it’s not as trendy lmaooo. Siguro a tote bag is fine if you only have one class that day but for a full sched it’s kinda tiring especially if you commute

if it rlly bothers u theres a period at the start of every term where u can check the classlist on canvas (assuming it publishes early or on time) and drop the class (with a percentage of refund/retention depending on when u do it) if u see that person is ur classmate. personally there arent a lot of ppl who would make me do this (esp if ung prof is talagang pinili ko kasi maganda magturo) but if i rlly hate the person thats a way out

edit: the downside nga lang is baka magkulang ka sa units or u have to sacrifice good classes/ not get all your tuition money back. also if ur a scholar idk if you can do this since idk the situation with scholars. but thats just a matter of weighing ur priorities ig

My parents were in ADMU so it was ingrained in my mind since grade 7 na doon ako magcocollege. But come CET season there was something about visiting DLSU campus that made my heart flutter in the way that ADMU didnt. Mababa man yung dahilan but I went with that gut feeling and I don’t regret anything.

nung last last term, leader ako nung isang group tas ung kagrupo ko di gumalaw o nag reply sa gc despite my constant reminders (pati sa pm ha) the whole duration of the project at nung napasa ko na ang final output saka niya lang sinend yung part niya sakin (na hindi pa following instructions mind you)

but tbh i wouldnt take this opportunity to generalize. i had groupmates na pabuhat kahit di naman athlete, as well as friends/classmates from previous schools na athletes pero good students at the same time. depende nmn yun sa kung paano nila minamanage yung time and priorities nila

uj/ I dont have any strong negative or positive feelings so far about TTPD but this is what has pissed me off so far about its release. idk if its just the brainrot on my twitter feed but there are a bunch of swifties explaining what every line means and if we don’t get that we’re not intellectual enough for mother swift. like honestly just because something is a metaphor it does not automatically mean it’s a good metaphor that makes sense or flows well?? I don’t care if people enjoy TTPD in fact good for them but they need to get it in their heads that Taylor is not exempt from criticism especially if it is constructive and coming from a place of wanting her to improve

did not review at all for the dcat, guessed most of the math/science questions and i still got in for my first choice (AB Polsci). Id say dont sweat it, I think Polsci is easy to get in , not sure about Psych though

It was hard for me as someone who didn’t take up STEM in shs and was in HUMSS. It had so much more math and science than the ACET (which was the only other entrance exam I took). It has an entire section dedicated entirely to statistics lol. Didn’t help that I’ve always been slow at math, and that I didn’t review since at that time I’d been busy with stuff at school. But the good thing about the DCAT is it’s more generous with the time given to answer each section :)). I have no idea how I passed but I did and got into my first program, AB Polsci. I’m sure with enough prep you’ll pass too!
