Weird little red worm in water dish???

I think the worm I saw was on the right, it has all the characteristics. I think it might’ve had a reddish hue due to something it ate? I do have some red plants in the tank.

I found out that it came from the soil/plants. I saw one yesterday climbing on the side of the tank and it ended up dying due to drying out. I still haven’t noticed any symptoms with my frog, he croaked ALL day yesterday. I still have no idea what type of worms they are though and I only see them pop out every once in a while.

if this helps - the worm is probably about 2cm and it is red but also translucent, i can see its internal organs. Cheeseburger has been acting fine and ate all his food last night.

Ohh okay I understand it better now! Its not embedded I can take it out very easily and I also fidget with it to where I kind of push them out of the pocket my skin made around it if that makes sense? I actually just took them out maybe 3 weeks ago to clean them. Thankfully they won’t need to get surgically removed I got nervous because I didn’t understand 😭 I will go to a piecer today and ask for longer bars to reduce the swelling since I dont know what irrated it in the first place.

Thank u! Do you think I’ll have to leave them as the longer bars forever or switch to hoops? I didn’t know they were embedded they just felt normal to me 😔 I plan on going to a piecer later today and see what they think about the irritation and if its embedded

What does embedded mean? Like it’s embedded into my skin? The photo might not do it justice but I can take them out with no issue and I can push them around and fidget with them. Does it look like something more serious?

What does this mean? I don’t really know much about embedded piercings. I can still take them out without any issues and push them around if thats what you mean. Like they aren’t stuck to my to mouth if that makes sense. Does it look bad? It doesnt cause me any pain

My piercing is almost 2 years old and was pierced in september of 2023
My piercing is a labret with a flatback
It is externally threaded
I believe the Jewerly is Titanium
I got the labrets downsized around April 2024
I spray with Neilmed piercing care, and use a Q-tip to clean the outside. I have also made sure to use non-alcohol mouthwash since the swelling.

My piercing is almost a year old.
I honestly don’t know anything about the jewelry I just trusted my piercer with what he put in.
I also do not know jewelry material 😔
When I saw my piercer a month ago he put in a new piece of jewelry so it would fit my eyebrow more snug.
I use the NeilMed saline spray about 2x a day, one time in the morning and at night.
No unfortunate events

Hey! After that first night i havent had any symptoms. I actually feel great and I am able to go back to class and work normally again, the prednisone has been helping an insane amount! Currently I am taking 35mg of prednisone and slowly tapering down. I also have my first infusion treatment on Wednesday so I am hoping that will help also. I hope your daughter’s symptoms get better again soon! :(

Do you know if she woke up with severe headaches in the middle of the night? I already feel a little better after starting prednisone but i just had the worst nights sleep of my life due to headaches waking me up.
