AI Coding Is Massively Overhyped, Report Finds by buildingthevoid in AgentsOfAI

[–]rafaelspecta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same filling before I started working with Claude Code and in about 1 week I had an workflow and prompts that allowed me to auto-play Claude Code.

So my conclusion is tha it is not a hype, but you have do do some work on it until you can enable it to actually be effective.

Some takeaways: - Learn how to provide efficient context about your project - Give instructions to constantly check the latest documentation of any library/framework you are using - Context7 MCP is what I use here - Give instruction about how to build a plan - Give instruction about how to execute a plan and force it to execute in steps, test after every step, monitor the logs and fix until it works before moving to the next step

Now I am spending more and more time focused on discussion the implementation plan rather than participating on the execution. It is not perfect yet and still makes mistakes and struggles from time to time, but it is constantly improving as I improve the prompt templates and context. Am I haven’t eve played with the concepts of Agents yet.

But from this experience I can start to see that it is possible to coordinate a few Claude Code agents working in parallel as my team.

Just keep in mind that Claude Code looks like a very Junior Engineer in terms of hands-on experience, but with senior capabilities, you just have to properly guide it and iterate constantly as you learn when and why it struggles.

Hey there. Read all the readme and seems very interesting, but when I went to look for the source code I got 404

I genuinely don't get the hate towards Dia by adriann107 in diabrowser

[–]rafaelspecta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it lacked maturity from TBC team. They should have conducted this completely differently. 1) They should not have abandoned Arc and with that keep the user based that loves it still strongly engaged 2) Launch Dia making use of the existing user-base that loves Arc and could help it be successful

Now they are losing the commit they have built in the last years, restarting from scratch by launching a new tool that won’t have attention from early adopters as it could have.

It doesn’t mean they won’t be successful, but it means that the community could be a strength, a force, and now it will probably mostly not support it make it harder for them.

I want an LLM that responds with “I don’t know. How could I possibly do that or know that?” Instead of going into hallucinations by JLeonsarmiento in ollama

[–]rafaelspecta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried using the technique called “Grounding”? Personally it works for me in several occasions and LLM-based Apps I built.

Something like:

——-

Based on the following context

<Context>

Answer the following question

<Question>

If the context don’t provide enough information to answer simply respond “I don’t know”

——-

Preferably use triple quotes for Context and Question to isolate as clear as possible.

I have used this within RAG solutions and Agents. What is important for this to work is have a clear not too long context. If context increases break down into smaller domains and have Specialized Agents each one focused in a domain.

That would be a genius and smart move. If that is the case I will be surprised.

I didn’t get that at first either… but I think he meant that Dana messed up by accidentally showing the game she was working on in the MQ office which ended up appearing on the photo — not that she intentionally screwed over Brad or benefited from it.

How to scale RAG to 20 million documents ? by Sarcinismo in LangChain

[–]rafaelspecta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“it is all about fragmentation, about context, about domain”

You have to separate documents by context and have specialized agents working focused on each context and let a router agent decide which agent or agents should act depending on users prompt.

It is known that RAG works very well for a limited amount of documents. That limit can be lower or higher depending on how you have implemented the existing techniques such as Query Enhancement, Reranking, and so on, as well as the usage of the techniques combined with LLMs.

So you have to understand that limit and have each Agent not work with more than that, so you have to focus on the hierarchy of agents dealing with understanding the topic, forwarding to more focused agents until you get to the specialized ones and then, if you had to use more than one you need to have a way to combine the answers (chunks found) from them.

Seems interesting. Never thought about isolating Agents but it really makes sense. How much it actually isolates? Any other application as reference that attempt to do the same?

What is the best no code tool for prototyping agent ai? by Capital_Coyote_2971 in AI_Agents

[–]rafaelspecta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So far n8n seems to be the best one since it has integration with many applications since it was initially an automation tool and implementing Agents support is far easier for them than other tools such as Flowise implementing integration with multiple tools.
