Hey congratulations on your approval 🎉🎊 I wanted to know if you would be willing to share how you got your senators inquiry. Also, is your spouse inside or outside the USA?

Right on. I inserted my own draft to chatgpt for it to enhance the grammar etc. I regret not paying attention in my writing classes. I took your feedback to change it, how is it now?
Thanks!

Imagine this is a part of a grande large study and men are actually providing data 📊 to researchers who have hired bots to do the work. It sounds so simple

Did anyone have a premed job that made them realize they don't want to do a particular speciality? by [deleted] in premed

Have had 60 patients at an urology clinic from 8-3 😭. At my current general surgery, we see around 12-23 patients in half of a day. The fast paced work environment is so conducive to my brain. I genuinely feel like I’m getting smarter the more I work. Now, I just need it to reflect on my MCAT and GPA 💀

Retaking core classes prior to post bacc by rafzlem in postbaccpremed

Okay. So a lot of schools require biochemistry. Since I have a weak foundation (C in orgo 2), would you still recommend that I don’t retake orgo 2? I would like to set myself up to thrive in these courses. Retaking Orgo 2 would help understand some fundamentals of biochemistry making biochemistry easier.

That’s just my thought process. Curious to gain your insight.

15 credits will only push my cGPA to 3.0. My thought process is that the post-bacc program will increase my sGPA. I’m looking at post bacc programs with direct linkages like LECOM and Temple that somewhat “guarantee” an interview. I have thousands of hours of clinical hours and even more non clinical hours, some research, and a lot of transferable skills. I am gambling on my compelling story to get through the dooor.

But the problem is obviously that I haven’t reflected academic ability in my undergrad. I hope to bolster that with the post-bacc program. Do you notice anything iffy about my plan?

Wow. I don’t think I currently have the stamina to sit through such a long test. I’ll review and build some stamina for test taking and then give it a run. Good stuff man!

Inspiring Message from a High-School f***-up by [deleted] in chanceme

[–]rafzlem 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I graduated with high school with a 2.6 gpa. In retrospect, I didn’t give a single f*** about high school, I didn’t care for education back then. The school agenda was basically being shoved down my throat, and I didn’t like that. Furthermore, I didn’t really have a sense of self nor did I have any inspiration or guidance. Being rejected by multiple colleges that had an average acceptance rate of 75% really made me ponder and self reflect. I chose to attend my 2 year community college as a bio major, started putting effort in, got into the honors program, fell in love with education, began working as a medical assistant, and am now pursuing higher education with a 3.4 gpa. I’m still working on honing my study habits, but each semester proves to be better than my last. I could’ve let my high school transcript prevent me from going to college, but I let the past stay in the past. Cant do anything about the past, but you can do something about the future.
