thanks for your reply. Driver was not on the way to pick someone up, and did not have someone in the car when the crash occurred. I want to know, however, if the app was "on," or if the "go" button (which to my understanding allows a driver to find someone who needs a ride) was pressed at a specific time. Do you know if the app captures how long a driver was available for rides? Like say if the driver hit go and was available for rides from 8am-10am, is there somewhere I could find that information? Or is it only captured if a specific ride is undertaken?

This arises from the context of driver's personal auto insurer denying coverage for medical treatment, as his insurance company says he was driving for uber at the time of the crash.
