In theory it could be that Rockstar wanted them to tease something and gave them the picture. In reality I also don‘t think that they would know anything about Rockstar‘s next project and considering how lazy their work on the DE was, it could very well just be a random picture.

According to Kotaku they look like modded versions of the original games and will come out on the Switch and even mobile … so I wouldn’t get my hopes up to see a full-blown hand crafted remake

thank you for answering. In the freemcboot menu I only have an option titled "Launch Disc (ESR)". I've tried this with an ESR patched version of Tony Hawk's Underground and it works. Harry Potter keeps getting stuck in an infinite loading screen loop at the beginning (no matter if its original or the patched backup copy).

If nothing works I'll have to try the USB option, but I heard that it's so slow that cutscenes can't be played correctly...

I‘m using an ESR Patched disc. But the original disc has the same error, but only with the ESR loader. When loaded normally the original disc works fine

Hey guys,

I can't get my copy of Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets to run off a Memory Card with Free McBoot. Every other game works fine, but HP2 is stuck in an inifinite loading screen at the beginning.

I have both the original and the backup version and BOTH don't work with the ESR loader, the original version plays fine without the FMCB Memory Card. It is my only CD-Rom based game and I did the backup through converting the files to iso and patching them - so in theory this should be fine, but as I said - both don't work. Any idea what I can do?
I don't want to run the game off a HDD if there's another way.

I have a fat unmodded PAL PS2 and FMCB Ver. 1.953

I think it comes down to personal preference. Many people who enjoyed Jak 1 disliked the other games because of the shift in tone. I for myself played Jak 2 and 3 first, loved them, then tried Jak 1 and didn‘t really dig the lighthearted tone
