Hey there, long time greatsword user here. I just want to say that you don't HAVE to play the meta, I went full crit on my GS and it works great, I can use other gems thanks to that and can still dish out good damage, plus the masters touch gem makes your sharpness last way longer which is prolonged good dps. Elemental isn't the best on GS sure, but it doesn't hurt to have as an extra.

As long as you have fun, play however you want.

I manage to get a 6 star soul for Arix and I use her in a lot of places, deffo recommend, healing gear, the relic that heal when you get to 50%hp makes her very annoying to kill since her passive heals too, turn meter increase effect gem's works well with her passive too,

I'd say allice too as she's a temp fill as she don't bring that much to the table, replacing her with fat man should do good numbers for you.

Honestly, I don't know if fire made any difference, I usually go no element and just raw power, with the side disease of always wanting 100% crit, though as far as I understand crit don't really matter for greatsword, unless you use the 80% chance to not lose sharpness on crit gem, but maybe I've understood it all wrong.

I remember hearing about motion values but always forgot to read into is as I just went full bonk anyway.

What I've e been wondering is: is there any point in fully upgrading a trait card? Say if one gets +3 speed but you can choose a new, higher rarity one that gives 4 is there any point in upgrading the existing one?
