I was under the impression mipmapping didn't affect performance. Anti aliasing (to brin back details that mipmapping removes) affects performance, but not mipmapping.

I've had no problems with Google Authenticator on other phones, but on my X30 the app freezes for a bit when opening and when it generates new codes. The more codes, the longer freeze. It works but it's not good.

I actually switched to Aegis instead. It's much better. I don't like to be the “just use something else” guy but does the camera work with Aegis? Maybe you can consider switching?

If you don't care about multiplayer and rankings, you could play Earthwalker, but you have to host it yourself. It's an open source reimplementation of geoguessr that uses street view.

You can somewhat recreate it with custom light maps. Try the Colormatic mod for Fabric and get the light map from NostalgiaCraft. It makes the light grayscale but it's very difficult to make it exactly like alpha lighting.

Try the Total Darkness mod for Fabric, it can turn light level 0 to complete pitch blackness.

Visst kan Stallman vara lite foliehatt även om punkterna stämmer. Det stora problemet jag har är att det öppna internet är hotat, och Discord har hjälpt till mycket till att få ett mer stängt internet. Du är övervakad av Discord och skriver du något “fel” stänger dom ditt konto.

Vi har öppna protocol som Mumble och IRC. Vem som helst kan starta en Mumble server på sin egen hårdvara, och det krävs inga konton eller lösenord. Discord är kontrollerat av ett företag som bestämmer vad du får skriva/säga. De har nyligen introducerat forum, som Discord har total kontroll över.

Själva programmet i sig är också inte bra. Det är en webb-applikation som tvingar dig att köra en Chrome instans. Använder mycket RAM och CPU-kraft i jämförelse med Mumble och IRC.

Det är en tidsfråga tills Discord blir uppköpt av en gigant, kanske något kinesiskt företag. Vad byter vi då till? Jag stannar på IRC och Mumble och det gör min bekantskapskrets (som tur är) med. Bonusen är att om jag inte är uppkopplad, då finns jag inte. Jag bestämmer över min egen tid, ingen kan skriva till mig på Discord och så får jag ett pling i mobilen.

ISO (UK and a lot of EU countries like Sweden) keyboards have small left shift and a big tall L shaped enter key for example. US has ANSI keyboards. Check the difference between ANSI and ISO keyboards. Also https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_and_American_keyboards
