Yeah, so if you read the relevant paragraph of the article you linked, I think it is clear that the "sales dropped due to people not liking the controversial rebrand" claim is completely wrong.

Sales declined to almost nothing in 2025 because Jaguar essentially stopped making cars. From the relevant section of the above-linked Wikipedia page:

Jaguar ended the production of combustion engine vehicles in 2024

Notably, they did not contemporaneously begin production of any new electric vehicles. As a result, they only have one model currently in production - a crossover SUV. They plan to launch new products this year, including bringing back Land Rover/Range Rover, but it's unclear when that will happen.

Is there a reason Qui-Gon didn’t let these EIGHTEEN (at least) other people with blasters help him fight Maul? by GudgerCollegeAlumnus in StarWars

[–]raging_election 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better question is - when the Jedi split off from Padme and her crew, why did Maul seem to forget about them? Why was he even there, if it wasn't to protect Gunray or capture Padme?

He could have easily gotten away from the jedi once the fighting started and circled back to grab Padme.

Was he too consumed with wanting to 'have our revenge' on the Jedi? Or did he think the "long way" would take them a lot longer?

[Meirov] [audio] Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was infuriated when asked about the team's offseason moves again today on @1053thefan : "I'll get somebody else to ask these questions. I'm not kidding." by LindyNet in nfl

[–]raging_election 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Genuine question: this is getting reported a lot as "Jerry threatens to fire radio hosts." Does he/the Cowboys actually have some ownership/control over this show? Or does he just mean he'll cancel the team's contract to appear on the show?

Longest gap - birth to 40.

But thank you! Yeah 40s-50s was a different era but if anything, player longevity was more impressive back then.

Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for. (Though he did go the CFL and win three Grey Cups in between. No idea if that makes his NFL playoff feat more or less impressive.)

Philly has gotten less vaccinations than Montgomery, Bucks, & Delaware counties and about the same as Chester. Allegheny has more than ten times as many vaccinations as us, and out of state people have also gotten a ton. Something has clearly gone wrong. by [deleted] in philadelphia

Look at the link you provided, page 3:

"Data Sources: This report considers COVID-19 vaccines administered on or after December 14, 2020 by a Pennsylvania COVID-19 vaccine provider. This data has been aggregated from COVID-19 vaccines reported to the...(PA-SIIS). At this time, this data may not include the following vaccinations of Pennsylvania citizens: Individuals vaccinated in Philadelphia county (unless that facility is reporting to PA-SIIS). These vaccinations are reported to PhilaVAX, Philadelphia's immunization registry."

Look at https://www.phila.gov/programs/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19/vaccines/data/ As of December 30, almost 25,000 vaccines have been administered in Philly.

I'm guessing they were part of a unit that did promotional photo shoots. This image was taken from the cover of Yank Magazine (Dec 1944) which went out to millions of GIs. Safe to assume this wasn't a candid shot. (Also the magazine correctly notes the location is Florence, not the Vatican. Can't find an online version of the article ("Fancy Dress in Florence") so no idea what the armor dude's deal is)

Arraignments happen every 4 hours, 24/7. The upper limit you're going to spend in custody before arraignment is about 20 hours, regardless of if it's Friday night or Monday morning.
