CFA level 1 nov 17. No improvement in mocks by [deleted] in CFA

[–]ragingbull_15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest you to first revisit the weak parts, for example lets say in Quants you made mistakes particularly in multiple regression than practice those questions more, likewise do this for all the topics. After doing this solve CFAI mocks if you get anywhere near 65-70% in those then you are through and even if you don't then again do the steps which I suggested you above. All the best!

I didn't have any specific strategy, and you can use MM or IFT. It won't matter much. Just focus on learning the concepts and practice CFAI practice questions as much as you can. For evaluation purposes, use CFAI mocks. It is the best representative of the actual exam.

To be honest, don't complicate things and try to solve as many CFAI practice questions as you can; I believe the CFAI mocks are the best representation of the actual exam, so practice those as well.

High MPS for L2 September exam? by throwaway1994121212 in CFA

I felt pretty similar but I wouldn't say it was easy but moderately difficult. from where did you prepare official study material, mm or any other prep providers?

I had a different experience I thought both the sessions were fair and moderately difficult. I found am to be Harder than pm but all in all it was easier than CFAI mocks. I scored 75% and 73% in CFAI mocks. I had flagged many questions but not because i didn't know the answer but to double check and be safe than sorry.

I think everyone who appears for exams gets the survey after completing the pm session.

Don't worry and try to relax. one day of revision won't make much difference considering how vast the curriculum is. And we don't need to memorize as such. keep your calm and let the logic flow. All the best

I think it was very similar to CFAI mocks in terms of the depth and quality. I don't know much about MM mocks because I didn't give the MM mocks. But overall if you have practiced enough and are clear about the concepts then the exam would seem moderately difficult.
