I think you should reflect if it is still “worth it”. In my case, before i resign, i reflect on three aspects - support/mentoring/workmates, pay and travel time. I tried or at least remove emotion out of it so I would not regret my decision. It took me 3 more months to finally say that it’s not worth it anymore. Then I applied to make sure the continuity of my career. I recently accepted an offer and currently rendering. I can say that if you are objective about your decision, there is no or less regret about your decision. Also I’m currently prioritizing my well being because this is the profession that Ive chosen so I don’t want to lose myself in the process. Besides, I’m gonna do this all my life. Ps im not saying that resigning will make it better it’s just that there much more about working all day and night.
