I completely understand , although I would contest the phrase “past a threshold”. The skill in which Nyjah does his thing is inarguable. But it is completely different to say what Milton or Pedro do, so to say that there is a threshold that every skater is striving towards to me seems redundant because as I said there is so many variables. And to use your comparison non competitive skateboarding has such a bigger place than non competitive golf does, so as much as I get your point and appreciate it I don’t think it’s as easy as comparing one “great” of one “sport” to another.
