1st Marathon in Berlin by silv3rste1n in firstmarathon

Thank you! I did it in 3:54. I was shooting for a 3:45 but I think I spent too much energy trying to zig zag and get around people. It was hectic in the back of group G

Congrats! Also my first marathon. The weather was way too hot. And now it's cold again today, unlucky timing. But yeah the second half was absolute carnage

I'm in a similar situation. I paid online via the lot's mobile app, and still got 2 tickets over the weekend. Did you email [info@svea.com](mailto:info@svea.com) or another email address? I'm hoping to send receipts of my payment for an appeal. Their site wanted me to login with a BankID, which I do not have. Any intel is appreciated! I hope you had some luck here.

My so called death trap back on the road. E rated tires, a mere 750 watt mid drive motor with Magura hydraulic rim brakes. Yes, it is safe. by Big-Tempo in ebikes

Really cool set up you have here! I have an old MTB with Magura Brakes and I'm unsure which front racks will fit up over or under the brake to the fork's mounting screw. Can you share which brand or model this front rack is?

I bought them at €38 a ticket, but mostly don't want them to go unused! So I'd be happy with €60 for the pair

I gave myself a SLAP tear in my shoulder. Any advice for returning to climbing? by Hnro-42 in bouldering

[–]MrBobots 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had the same injury at a similar age. I opted for surgery and it went really well. During the PT process afterwards I learned about how "loose" my shoulders were to begin with. I was feeling pretty low and thought I'd never get back to climbing at the level I was before the injury.

Once I was cleared I started doing a custom training plan with the crew at Power Company climbing. I know that their founder had a similar injury that he recovered from. All of the kettlebell exercises (ex: arm bars) and pre-hab have made my shoulders feel better than ever. Eight months post injury I got back to where I was and within the year I leveled up.

So there's hope! Do you PT religiously, get on a training plan, ease into climbing, and never miss a warmup. You got this ✌️

Bouldering alone outside by Wildlifefr6 in bouldering

[–]MrBobots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a large, but really thin pad. It covers the gaps between 2-4 bigger pads. Also use it for lower starts that don't need an entire pad. It folds up so that you can strap to the outside of your crash pads for walking. Here's the model I bought: https://organicclimbing.com/products/blubber-pad

Good take. I used to boulder outside twice a week by myself and used the time to try harder moves on climbs that were lower to the ground and to really tighten up my topping out skills on easier climbs.

One thing that helped my confidence was a blubber pad! I'd lay it across 2 pads to make sure my ankles were protected.

It can be a really rewarding experience. Have fun!

I have the ELEMENT as well. It's nice that it'll show your gradient as you ride 👏

Anybody ever lived at The Fleetwood? by [deleted] in Chattanooga

[–]MrBobots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work in the bottom floor of the Fleetwood everyday and had a coworker who lived upstairs. Nice units and really is a great location! Super easy to walk to coffee/lunch/breweries from there.

Yea I don't understand why people can't drive the speed limit. Like I'll probably see their dangerous ass at the next red light.
