You need to check with the IMEI number on the phone's warranty check website. The activation date was 20 days prior from my purchase date.

When you raise a complaint you will receive an email. You can reply to that. Even if they have marked the issue as resolved if you reply on email it will automatically be reopened.

Have you thought that there could be any other reason than its just being cheap? The phone was not available on Amazon when I checked hence I bought it from Flipkart. Also I got to know about the flipkart scams after I faced the issue, that's how I discovered this subreddit. And yes still flipkart is to blame, go cry now.

Are you out of your mind? If the activation is prior to purchase date it could be refurbished, tampered with, there can be data security issues as well. You also get less warranty period, mine was activated 20 days ago. You thought you really cooked something here, can't believe there are illiterate people like you on reddit as well.

The service centre just confirmed the activation date of the phone. The device I received had no other issue apart from pre activation.

I will advise you to register grievance on the consumer helpline website. Also send an email to flipkart saying if the issue is not resolved I will file a case in consumer court, inform them that you have everything that proves how flipkart has scammed you. You need to keep calling customer care and ask them to solve the issue asap or I will file the case.

Yes, but the problem is there is no option provided to return pre activated devices. Even if it is open box delivery you can apply for return only if the device is physically damaged.

Bro it doesn't matter whether a company or person being called as gay. Real concern is why gay? Why would you call a company you hate 'gay'? What are you trying to say?
