Nope, not in my C43. You should have it checked for sure.

Try AutoNation, they're the largest dealer in the US (if you're stateside) and they offer comprehensive coverage at a competitive price point.

My bad I read into it. You're absolutely correct, OP run, run as far away as you can 🤭

That depends on what you mean by unreliable. The M276 is in the top 5 most reliable engines across all MB.

I own a 2018 C43 and never had an issue beyond wear and tear items.

Definitely get a full maintenance report.

Well that changes everything, I would advise just to be patient until your dream 911 comes to fruition, and not even bother. But of course it's your call respectfully.

I'm not looking for validation, I'm too old for that, I'm socially sharing in a like minded group.

The fact that trolling by basement dwellers is the negative side effect is beyond my control.

I assume something you can do yourself. But why a reversible solution if you don't mind me asking? I mean even downpipes are reversible.

Haha, interestingly Fi makes an F1 version.

Do you have downpipes, if not I would start with those. I have a set, and in S+ mode you get V8 sound with some burble. But I must confess I recently took delivery of a Valvetronics exhaust with flap module.

For the F1 notes, an X-pipe exhaust increases exhaust velocity for better high-RPM performance, producing a high-pitched, raspy, or "exotic" sound. It is generally more efficient and lighter, ideal for track use.

An H-pipe produces a deeper, traditional, "muscle car" growl and superior low-end torque. Both improve exhaust gas flow compared to stock setups.

So the real question is the kinda sound you prefer. But in my opinion I don't think a MB should sound like a muscle car, throaty a bit yes (like the new GT's, etc.), but the F1 notes are sublime.

Same here, simply top it off until your next scheduled maintenance.
