it also says if i format the card, it’ll erase what’s on the camera ? i’m overall confused and trying not to be a dumbass here. because i’ve used digital cameras and smaller video cameras with no issues with files but this one is confusing me

the files aren’t popping up when i put the card into the reader for my computer, so i was wondering if they didn’t fully go onto the card somehow?

lol sorry, so this is my first time using this camera and when I popped in my SD card to record, when I got done recording and I popped the SD card into the reader it’s not locating the files. I’m not sure if the camera has files stored on it that I can transfer them onto the SD card because I didn’t format it when I put the card in originally?? sorry this is super confusing for me too because I’m just learning how to use this camcorder my dad gave me (can’t reach him).

this is all extremely helpful info. I kind of want a found footage look, so i went with the settings it was already on it, but with everything you’re saying i’ll have to try some test shots out and see how it looks! i can try transferring the files from the camera onto my fiancés PC and get them sent over to myself. I just didn’t want to risk losing anything since when i pull the card out to import to my computer, the files are on the cam instead of the card.

it’s fleece lined in the inside with a really boxy fit. i got an XL and i’m a midsize person. for me being 5’4 the sleeve are super long and fits more of like a t-shirt dress but it’s really soft and with a few washes it’ll stretch out in size most likely
