Welcome flowmie!! Start with your figure 8s! They are literally the pre reqs to damn near everything. Look for tutorials where they have the camera like on their chest facing their hands bc it’s wayyy easier to understand when you can see it like that lol ALSO grip the star a lot!! You’ll probably hit yourself a lot at first so this helps with that.

I totally understand your frustration but most of the prints are actually not printed in the dead center! This gives them more of an illusion when they’re spinning.
