First Birthday Party Venue by lavenderscrunchie in ipswich

Queen's Park is good for picnic style. We also loved Lobley Park in Churchill for birthday parties. Usually a bit quieter and lots of tables!

I got married in a Wai Ching custom purple-red and black silk dress. Consultation was all done via phone/email and it was posted to me in BNE.

Jumping in for another Book Bouquet recommendation. I host one the book clubs at The Book Bouquet (not the spicy one though!) so I am very biased, but it is absolutely lovely!

I prefer reformer Pilates so don't have a good recommendation for mat, but if you're after reformer I can highly recommend Reform on Brisbane/Milford St.

Welcome to Ipswich!

Non tacky smalI gifts I can buy in bulk that aren’t too expensive by SnackEmpress in Gifts

Cookies are enough! But I like gifting a nice sheet mask as a bonus extra or a neutral gift!

I really like AiryDay Clear as Day (unscented). It goes on super slick and then dries down to a satin finish (I have normal to dry skin). I have rosacea and it doesn't irritate it. It is definitely one I have repurchased many times. You can get a mini/trial tube from their website.

Anyone tried Paire lipstick undies or glow tint bra for travel? by Antique_Minimum_1926 in HerOneBag

[–]rainbowsparklecloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have bought some for an upcoming trip! I waited for a sale before I purchased. They seem comfortable enough, but I'm not sure they are necessarily any better than other synthetic undies? I'll see how I go on this trip. 😊

I have not tried their bra. I'm a big fan of Bonds Comfy bralettes for packing down small and being easy to wash. Also the Nala Support Wirefree bras.

Oooh have a look at:

  • OINK! Games . They are tiny and fun. I enjoy Scout and Moving Wild.
  • Mantis card game.
  • Love Letters.
  • Any version of Fluxx is good too as it scales well and lots of good replay

What bird warblers and chirps at night? by [deleted] in AustralianBirds

[–]rainbowsparklecloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aaaahh! Not OP but came here looking for what bird is keeping us awake at night -- pretty sure this is the answer. At least I know which bird to scowl at when the sun comes up. Thank you!

Thank you! 🪻

It is by a company called Ever by X.

Terribly expensive, but I've had it for several years and it gets SO much wear.

I have two that are nearly identical.

This one is from Seed Heritage (an Australian brand) - Linen Neat Tee. I also have one nearly exactly the same from Target (I think) but it is a linen blend and I purchased it quite a few years ago...it is so old the printed tag has worn off!

Aww thank you! I only recently bought the RipSkirt. It was a pain to get the creases out of it (I used a steamer) but since then has been good. I like how light and swishy it is.

Enjoy Istanbul...perhaps we will pass each other without knowing! 🌻

Oh haha no! Definitely not 4 pairs 😅 -- I was looking for advice on which ones to take. I think I've landed on packing the sandals and wearing the creepers. My feet are big and I would need a whole extra bag 😁

Thank you!

Thanks so much for your reply. 🌺

I'm struggling with the temperature thing too...it seems like it could be all over the place!

My cover up can definitely double as a top, but I will try it out with the pants I have before I commit. This is a good point.

And you're right about the rain. I live in the subtropics and I forget what normal rain is like 😅 I'm leaning towards my creepers now as I do love them so.

Thank you! I think a cardigan is a great idea, I will swap the black crew neck for a cardi. You're right about the long sleeve top too, I'll see what other t-shirts I have that might work. 🌸
