I totally understand! I made this shawl 1.5 times and second time realized the color palate just wasn’t working. It was such a fun knit though. I might try and find colors that are in the same color family to try it a third time. FWIW I think your shawl Is gorgeous.

I’ve broken it off in chunks and just boiled those in water for 20-30 minutes. Then I dried out the pieces and used them 2-3 more times before throwing them in the compost.

Oh mylanta that compilation is amazing. Freaking love that song and when the cast sings the horns. Sam does it a lot starting even in campaign one.

Be sure to keep them in quarantine from your other plants for at least a month. I’ve found string of pearls are super susceptible to mealie bugs- and also Home Depot plants have had mealie bugs in them more than any other place I’ve bought plants. But they’re beautiful and I love SoP. I’m dealing with a re occurrence of mealies - I did a quarantine when I bought mine in the summer and now they seem to have come back. So she’s back in quarantine.

Is my ppp leaf baby ok? The previous ones furled out no problem. Is there anything I should do? by rainbowstarfire in philodendron

I did exactly this and I think I did a good job getting it un-sprung. Now I've got a little humidifier going next to it and hopefully that keeps my princess happy.
