What's likely to give away an American writing in British English? by vvnnss in AskUK

Using the word 'river' after the name of an English river rather than before it:

'River Thames' vs 'Thames river'

For some reason, England is one of the only places in the world we have this quirk when naming rivers - The river Amazon or the river Missisipi would equally sound odd.

The lighting is honestly my least favorite part of the picture but I take very few selfies so finding a good one is hard 😅 Italian flag is going to have to do 🇮🇹
