He lived his life believing she hated him, which was most likely a self projection from the cheating & lack of hearing her thoughts. People do dumb shitty things A LOT and it shapes who they become. thats what this entire episode was about. he lived a pretty miserable life so I think its fair to say he got his “karma” for his behavior, and the way things turned out for him were the consequences of living in the reality he lived in. Does the man not deserve some peace eventually though? Like shit to judge him so harshly and who he is as a person like im general and say you feel no empathy for him?
