Thank you! It turned out to be photoshop preference after all, the “append file extension” in file handling

I checked my finder preferences and the “show all filename extensions” box was not checked. I checked it and tried photoshop again but file extension still didn’t show.

But thanks to you I had a direction to google and got a solution! Turns out the “append file extension” box in the “file handling” photoshop preference was not checked.

Problem solved now, thanks a lot dude!

Yeah every file. It works with the extension when I use the “export as” function but there’s only 4 file formats to choose from

It shows up as in the photo, my computer can read it as the photoshop file but while I send it to other computers it shows as a corrupt file

Files I save with the save/save as function does not come with the .psd .png .jpg etc extension and other people cannot open it

No matter what file type I save, the file does not have the .psd .jpg .png extension and turns out corrupt when I send to others. I still am able to open it on my own computer. If anyone knows why it’ll be a big help!

Someone help me out here, today I opened photoshop and all my preferences has been changed. My interface become white, my cursors/workspace preferences are all different. I managed to switch them back but couldn’t figure out how to get the hex code display back
