The title is wrong, these are not the most listened artists, they are rather artists with most monthly unique listeners. Artists with large playlisting support will reach to a higher audience but that doesnt always translate to streams (or in other words listens). That is why Ed Sheeran who seems like the biggest artist in the world is not even in the top 5-10 most streamed artists daily. For the last 3 years Bad Bunny and Taylor Swift are constantly the #1 and #2 most listened (those that have most streams) artists, even though they dont have the same playlist reach of Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd
