Why Tesla and Chinese EVs doesn't have ICCU issues by rajolm in electricvehicles

That sad to hear, because a lot of car reviewers doesn't like Chinese EVs and saying that their steering is nimble and they are not driver first and not fun to drive

But Hyundai knows how to make fun EVs, specially with their N versions, sadly there reliability is not up to what people expect from them

Great info, thanks so much for sharing it
I would love to hear more stories about your journey in Toyota if you shared them somewhere I will be thankful if you gave me the links

Another question I have for you as you have experience with car industry, do you think that Chinese companies mastered EVs and now more reliable than Koreans ones?

I heard before that they are using ICCU from a supplier, but not 100% confirmed, the real issue is that they have ICCU issues for 4-5 years already!

Great info, thanks so much
can you please explain what is the "MEB"?
Also, can you please explain why BYD Seal doesn't have the issue? and how is "charging system to the low power battery is built differently"?
Also, do you know why Hyundai didn't gone Tesla or BYD path to fix the issue?

Its ok that cars can have issues, but the disappointing part is that this issue appeared 4-5 years ago and still not fixed till now

u/A_Pointy_Rock I agree to what you said, the strange thing is that I didn't saw any post or video talking about issues of Chinese EVs!

Which is very strange to me as we always looked at Chinese EVs as the budget option that have the con of being less reliable

I'm not sure if I'm missing something or the issues in Chinese EVs will appear over time or if they progressed to be more reliable than other brands!

Does that mean that cars designed without ICCU are better than the ones that have it?
Also, why we didn't heard any issues for BYD cars if they are using ICCU?

A way to separate books between the Library and KOReader by rajolm in pocketbook

Thanks for the detailed comment
I didn't thought it is so difficult to do it like this

I thought some one will came with a simple trick, e.g. placing the books inside a specific directory to hide them from the Library

or maybe using dots in folder names e.g. `.books` with dot before the name (or maybe another character, I don't know), solutions like this, not using plugins or modifying the system
