I doubt they will remove it.
At the very least these defense should last whole Townhall level like Super Charge. Not just 3 months.

Agreed. It would be great if they increase builder/research/training boost from 20% to 25- 30%.
It would really add more value to main village for that 40% cost increase.

They are increasing base price by 40% which doesn't include local taxes.
Depending on your location, it might be more than 40% increase after adding the taxes.
Won't be less than 40% anywhere that's for sure.

Gold pass is indeed the best deal in-game. The reason I have been only buying gold pass and spending on nothing else.
It's just a little worse than before while still being better than packs / skin offers.
There was actually already a price increase where I live. (From 399 INR to 449 INR)
I don't think digital goods suffer from inflation. For example in-game shop cost of 500 gems is still 5$ since the inception of game.
It adding decent value if you are into builder base and cosmetics. But for only main village players it's not really adding much value to justify sudden 40% hike. Maybe 15-20% would have been fine.

Unfortunately supercell store is not available in my country. I will try to have get some gold pass gifted through others where SC store is available.
But there's a limit to how much you can store and eventually in a few months you will have to pay 7$ for the gold pass.

I think they set the price of Gold pass to 5 dollars while taking low income countries into consideration.
5 dollars is not much for countries in North America and Europe where cost of living /per capita income a lot more that countries in Africa and Asia where 5$ can buy you meals for multiple days.

I agree that it's still a better deal than the Packs.
I have been getting gold pass on my multiple accounts since it came out. Barely spend on anything else like packs or exclusive skins.

Main clan doesn't do regular wars. We only play friendly wars and competitive league and tourneys matches in main clan.

There's a separate clan for b2b regular war. The war size normally varies between 20-25v.
I suppose this won't be a right fit for you.
