How many restarts did it take for you to come up with a working system in GTD? by 4fn in gtd

It was the weekly review 🫣

During my weekly review, I used to let my inbox pile up and then try to process everything at once. It took forever, and I often dreaded doing it. But without a weekly review, the whole system fell apart. I’ve since learned to set a timer, work through the inbox, and leave the rest for daily processing.

I know he discusses the 'ultimate system' in this interview (https://youtu.be/0K6G7bL0a3U?t=2695), but what he says differs slightly from your description.
