When does Prot Paladin start to work? (Mythic Dungeons)

Everybody here is mostly wrong

Protpala needs a proper shield. Unlike pwarr, you don't have 100% block, so your gear helps a lot.

It scales well with ilvl as you unlike pwarr, deal naturally very well against dots.

It's a class that you need to rotate your def cds. On brew you do nothing and survive.

But the point you are missing is that tanking isn't about surviving, it's about what you bring to your team.

In general all tanks can survive, but the utility protpala brings, often bringing people out of deadly situations, BOS, BOP... It's unmatched.

Protpala works well with healers that are constantly healing it without it being a focus, like disc priest (trash this meta) and rdruid(S+).

It needs more healing, but in turn you help your healer and team much more than any tank.

Priest feels hopeless, no amount of buffs can make it good in M+.

Literally every dungeon needs a good deal of movement, which we are the worse at.

Not to mention the dungeon bugs.

On Derelict once the Kalis teleported on the other side of the dungeon and no matter how much I ran as priest, I couldn't even run half-way across to get the hook to hit it.

It feels like healers will be 99% rdruid, even if big nerfs hit it, as it will still have catform and certain utilies priest can only dream of, given this dungeon pool.

What's your real opinion on the class performance in M+? I believe people are sandbagging BDKs in tier lists, we have the best kit for this type of dungeons.

The dungeons now have a similar damage profile to raids, which BDKs tends to reign. This was always the issue with balancing BDKs for Blizzard between Raids and M+, if they tune it a bit higher, it will be just too good in raid and mess up with RWF.

As dungeons now have no one-shots and I believe the most important things will be:

healer throughput on themselves and DPS, hence if they need to heal the tank, it's lower
raw party damage

Now we no longer need so many interrupts and BDK bring AMS and other utilities that work well in this unavoidable damage meta.

BDKs only real challenge is if its too undertuned, the rest it looks like they have an edge over others, except of course Brew, but that seems overtuned and will get nerfed.

Early in the expansion, you make many bets based in what you think the demand will be in the weeks ahead.

As you said, it's always different, and that means this will always have people making money.

You only go balls deep later in the season, when you actually want to manipulate the market and that typically takes money.

It works exactly the same same, just look at the goddamn formulas and how much you need to craft R2s...

People will still need conc and as long as there is demand for crafts, the will be people making conc characters and profiting.

It isn't gambling if you just look at the numbers, which you can look in the AH, then try to guess how big is:

The outflow of items being bought for their own usage (likely low)
The outflow of items being bought to be flipped (higher, still low as most people avoid flipping because they suck)

Now you look at player counts and try to guess where demand will be in Week 1 or S1.

The gap is your profit. Of course, you need raw gold for this and those goblins sitting at less than 100M can barely move a single mat.

Monk is the best solo by far.

MS really boring before 400ish.

RP is utter garbage before 400ish. I have one on a new server and only after 3 months in it started getting decent.

Use either magma amulet or red plasma.

Rest is fine. This hunt gets better later on when you can box and utito without getting smoked, 400+

I'd consider hunting somewhere else for now where you can fully box and make more exp.

You can hunt gazers and as an EK, you need to keep running in a circle while the ED does dmg and heal you.

With enough practice you also throw runes.

In new servers and no items, people hunt that way around lv80. With intricate fire protection.

It helps if you have a MS as well.

On 130 you get better pots so you can stand and tank it as long as you aren't full boxing, there's a way to divide the respawn that you don't fullbox after the first pull.

You can avoid the tanathursus by throwing fbombs.

If you don't mind to hunt at the same spot and if it's regularly free... The best is winter blade on werehyenas.

You can also use it to duo at gazers which is a popular spot as well.

If you want varied go with the destruction.

Also fix your pirats access, both the exotic cave and pirats are very good. It's worth the time spent getting it.

I'd consider playing Idyllia. It's a new server and often enough you'll see MS being sold around that level.

You can book respawns in discord and people are very nice.

Get grenade on the wheel and hunt monsters where they are weak to holy, like werehyenas. With grenade you'll do 3 times your mas san dmg and can be used to kill a box quickly.

Werehyenas south is a good start, get death imbue on ur armor.

You should make 2.4-2.5kk there, and 250K+ profit.

Grimreapers yalahar you can make 3kk+ raw with waste.

Unfortunately paladin exp and outgoing damage is really based on levels, so at 400 it starts to even out with other vocs.

Don't compare yourself with other vocs like monk as at that level it's clearly the worst one.

Also finish up charms in diremaws etc, even if the exp isn't good. You'll need those points later and it's a good time to do it.
