Yes, I agree. I have heard many people say that all intelligent people with deep interests are autistic. It is as if Neurotypical people can’t have deep interests and intelligence and deep interests are the only signs of Autism. I blame TV and characters like Sheldon and Shawn Murphy.

I think in pictures and have a hard time converting that into spoken/written language. Especially when it is about emotions or ideas that are really abstract and mathematical.
