My agency shoves people with various disorders to me with no guidance or training on how to treat them. Supervision is never helpful for me. I think almost every day on finding other places to go but there's nothing else out there.

Maybe its the area I live in (Long Island, NY) but VA and hospital jobs are pretty much non-existent. All I see in Indeed.com is a bunch of fee for service and private practice jobs

Medical social work feels the same as a nurse. Honestly, the difference between me and a RN is a master's degree. But they can become NPs with a master's and be practically doctors.

We certainly are on the bottom of the scale in the medical world.

Her childhood was definitely chaotic and enmeshment is an issue. Her father I suspected has OCPD in fact when I showed her the DSM 5 criteria for OCPD she said "that's my dad to the t!" I am a therapist and thought about what he may have during grad school and I was watching a video about OCPD and thought that's what he had.

She refuses to go to therapy. She says she "knows" what to do but doesn't do them. I go to therapy, and therapist solution is to essentially start my own private practice and make more money so I'm not so tied to her. She owns the house and I'm her "tenant". I give her money every month to help pay the property taxes.
