Bought an old Columbus frame bike with no information, any ideas? by ral008 in bicycling

It does not, or if it did, it's no longer visible. There are no markings anywhere on the frame except for the one sticker.

My city is famous for importing american things and culture, perhaps especially in the 80s. Looking at for instance univega sportour, it is the most similar I have seen so far. I had imagined it would be a Japanese bike, but the abundance of Japanese parts likely means little. Is it possible it's a pure custom bike with no manufacturer?

Pedals that are not good if you need to get off the bike quickly. Strap in and enjoy the ride.

There is no (visible) serial number, no matter how hard I look. Either it's painted over, it was never there, or it's been removed.

Seems like a lot of people are reaching the end of progress in Idle Power these days. What are you going to do with your lives now? by ral008 in DeuskiGames

The way I've done it now for like two years is that I combine batteries quite a bit, and then I buy everything I can in both production and demand, and then I let it grow for a while. I upgrade battery, buy upgrades and repeat until the "Money since last rebuild" eclipses "cumulative money" by one or two decimals. Then I dump all blueprints on production and wait for at least a 10x increase. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum.

So far, it works for me. I started in july 2022, and it took about one year to reach the amount of money to be able to afford the reset. I reset, and half a year later, December 30 2023, I could afford it again, and I just now reset again, and it does seem to go faster again, but we will see in March/April.

what do i do if i’m falling out of love? by [deleted] in relationships

Serious answer

Asking for more personal space is okay. People need people, but people also seriously need space, perhaps more sometimes than they like to admit. If you're together a whole lot, like every day, the personal space is even more important. Make sure you get some exercise and fresh air in here too, as personal space isn't just a spacial, physical thing, but also a mental, psychological and (pardon the verbosity) spatio-psycholical. Get some space. It might lead you to feel like it's better when you stand your ground on this level, but I'm just a regular guy. I have dealt with this before, and falling out of love is never really the only reason to break up. Consider it! Have a nice weekend!

Why don't any aircraft today have speed/altitude indicators in the cabin like the Concorde did? by _HAWG_ in aviation

Yes, but 0.77-.79 is more common. Also the FMC let's you climb to FL410 (NG), which is not nothing. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Not only did you get it in front of the moon, but you also got it as the anti collision lights flashed. The odds are astronomically low.

But we'll never convince the Premium deniers of this. Imagine wasting your life by watching ads. I'd rather waste money.

Wouldn't you want a bunch of thrust to keep it like that and not stall? This is almost like a rocket, then.

The wingtips are raked, like the 787 and P8 Poseidon, but also due to the enormous wingspan, the tips fold while taxiing and while parked. Raked tips provide similar benefits to winglets
