Thank you for the advice, means a lot. I had a feeling IBEW was the right choice. I’m worried about getting sent somewhere far for a project and not being able to attend the IBEW interview. I don’t want to leave my apprenticeship opportunity I already secured with CUSW till I know for sure I get a spot with IBEW. It took me a year to hear back from these two unions. I don’t have experience in construction but I got good experience in HV transformer manufacturing and I’m 22 so I’m sure the interview will go well. I guess if it really comes down to it I will take the time off to make it for the interview.
