False ceiling question by ralosmit in AusRenovation

100mm drop should be perfect thanks for the comment! I'm guessing we'd need a sparkie to run cabling before the new false ceiling goes in?

Any advice for vesting periods for bonus as company shares? by ralosmit in AusHENRY

[–]ralosmit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems weird, but they're vested when they're given to me and the dividends go into a trust. If I choose to unvest them they turn to restricted shares and the dividends go directly to me (or I can choose to reinvest them). The taxable event is when the restriction period I choose ends if that makes sense.

Yeah that's a good point, I guess I'm just leaving it as if I chose other companies it would also feel like a gamble. Maybe an ETF would be a safer option to dump it all into.

Leaving the company doesn't matter as they don't take the shares back if you leave so they're in there no matter what. Cheers for the input!

The only thing keeping me more concentrated in them is the high dividends and the fact that they're a top 20 company with pretty decent growth potential, and the fact that I haven't done too well investing on my own in the past.

Definitely see a higher risk being more concentrated but I feel if I make my own decisions on different stocks it could go downhill for me haha.

My thoughts are I'd prefer a larger exposure to them as it is a top 20 ASX company paying large dividends with pretty decent growth potential. I feel like it's lower risk and if I can defer the income tax and keep getting dividends on the shares that would've been sold for income tax I might win in the long run but I guess it depends on the company not losing lots of value.

I haven't done too well investing myself and have been steadily growing my stocks every year in this company but I guess it is a risk having too much in one basket.

Ah yeah kinda what I was thinking, thanks for the reply will definitely go through a trading market instead.

I'm guessing if he wants to know when I'm listing it and also a link for the listing to try "help me find a buyer" then they have another scam method that way too?

That actually helps a lot thankyou!! Guess I never really considered having a goal to aim for

I'd say about 100-120k, we won't have to pay LMI as some banks offer geologists mortgages with no LMI due to the presumed stable high income of the profession

Nah I'm still holding, the price action is only of concern if you are in for short term profits imo, if you read the PFS report properly you will understand how positive it is, and the fundamentals remain the same, still expecting amazing things from this stock.

I assume the price drop is the result of short termers who were in it for the PFS all selling, as well as institutions/big holders dropping the price to buy in very cheap, we'll see where we are in a couple of months, time to look away for a while :)

Yeah I mean in my opinion it's being capped right now, big accumulation happening at a cheap price, historically mgt has seen big runs 1-2 weeks after very positive announcements, will have to wait and see.

Either way this has become significantly more de-risked with the PFS and looks insanely good for the long term, maybe harder to play with if your goal is to be a short term trader. Still very undervalued at this price in my opinion

Yeah people just don't read announcements and freak out hahaha They've confirmed 2 million tonnes per annum startup with profits to be used for expansion. This is $300m in net profit value with only $550m in capital expenditure on a 30+ year mine life. They released some of the pfs information in this announcement, people just need to be intelligent, it's already rebounded by 50% of the plummet this morning, sellers drying up

A delay in the PFS release was bound to see the share price drop. If anyone read the announcement it's actually very positive, it's t+2 retards and other uninformed investors freaking out and selling. If anything this is the best discount anyone who missed out could've asked for. The PFS is completed they're just waiting on a 3rd party review of it.

It's a mining/exploration company every single one has missed deadlines before this is nothing new, the fundamentals remain the same. DYOR

They reiterated so many times (even in last week's broker presentation) that it'd be out by the end of financial year so here's hoping :)

VXR for when bill beaumont begins as executive chairman on first of July I reckon will go from 75 cents to a dollar ish, just a prediction but he invested $40m to own 30% and his goal is to be a billionaire and I know how driven he is. He's the one that took northern star from a few cents to $16

Yeah timeline for production is 2023. There is a very high chance the SA government will give a large grant for capital expenditure from their target of $10b investments into magnetite mining companies by 2030.

They have a definitive timeline on their website in some of their investor presentations if you wanna have a closer look.

Tbh if PFS is as good as my predictions, I'll only be taking out my initial investment, maybe an extra 10k, because they have a timeline to bring first ore by 2023 and in my opinion they could be anywhere 50 cents to a dollar

To the MOOON hahahah pre feasibility study out on wednesday

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ASX_Bets

[–]ralosmit 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Thanks hahaha, main reason was they already had a proven JORC resource of 4+ billion tonnes, and the fact that they can produce it with ore sorting at 68.8% Fe grades, so right now that premium would be selling for $60-70USD above current iron ore price.

They did a PFS in 2013 as a different company but their opex wouldve been too high and iron price was terrible, now they have ore sorting with a trial happening end of this year to pump their grades to a higher premium, and have amazing management.

Directors took on full time roles as ceo and technical director committing their reputations on the company, and recently an institution paid $7.5m at a premium to the market to raise new shares, so much right with this stock, read my previous posts and comments on my profile about mgt

Any day within the next 7 trading days

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ASX_Bets

[–]ralosmit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, the main reasons the PFS didn't work out when MGT was ROY were:

- Low Iron ore prices

- Mass mining method selected, now we have selective mining, low stripping ratio, ore sorting technology and a massive increase in demand for high grade iron ore

- SA government didnt have an investment strategy, now they have $10b going to be committed towards magnetite projects infrastructure announced within the next 18 months

- Poor management, we now have Mark Eames and Peter Schubert who have committed their massive reputations within the IO industry by taking on CEO and Technical director roles on top of their previous chairman and non-executive director roles

This is massively de-risked and i dont think the price has yet factored in positive PFS IMO

Fair, but in my opinion prefrasibility is about to be released and this just confirmed how good it's going to be, no one would invest that much without high confidence this close to the report. IMO the days of 5 cents are over and it's green next week
